Birth to Age 3
CDS-CC Part C services are provided in the Naturally Occurring Environment which for most of the families is in their home. Some children of families who are working receive their services in the child’s community daycare program or in an alternate family location. Services are based on the family priorities which are identified through a Routines Based Conversation and other priorities identified as part of comprehensive assessment by special education and related services staff. Routinely, services will include Family Service Coordination and Specialized Instruction. Related Services (e.g., Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Language Pathology, etc.) are provided as determined by the IFSP team. We use a variety of Social Emotional support programs to assist families.

Purpose of Services
Services provide educational experiences to the child within their naturally occurring environment. The primary purpose of the program is to teach parents to be the child's primary teacher, as well as to provide supportive family service coordination to the child and family. This is accomplished through weekly home visits where the Family Service Coordinator models activities and assists the parent in practicing the activities with their child. Written activity plans, data collection, lending of materials, and reassessment are done on a continuing basis.
